Product Data Quality Co-Ordinator
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about data accuracy and committed to maintaining the highest standards of medicines information. As our Data Quality Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role within Data Quality Operations - acting as the bridge between our offshore conversion and QC teams, internal colleagues, and customers. You’ll help ensure the emc website and related products consistently deliver reliable, high‑quality information.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re confident working directly with customers, resolving queries, and guiding them through submission and conversion issues. A meticulous approach to detail is essential, as you’ll routinely monitor the accuracy, quality, and presentation of medicines information across our platforms. Just as importantly, you’ll understand how data quality shapes user experience, supports customers, and ultimately contributes to better patient outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
Acting as the primary day‑to‑day contact for the offshore conversion and QC team, ensuring they are aligned with current processes, adequately trained, and working to agreed quality and productivity standards.
Monitoring workloads and performance across the conversion and QC activities, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
Creating, maintaining, and continuously improving standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions related to data quality, conversion, and QC processes.
Managing and resolving customer enquiries relating to submissions and conversions, including troubleshooting issues and providing clear, timely guidance to customers.
Collaborating closely with internal teams (e.g., Product, Customer Success, Technology) and external stakeholders to ensure medicines information is accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory and customer expectations.
Working with the Data Quality Lead and wider Product team to maintain and improve the scope and value of medicines data to enhance Product value.
You are comfortable working in a growing company
Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the role and the post‑holder’s experience as required within Data Quality.
Escalating data quality risks or recurring issues to the Data Quality Lead and contributing to root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Ensuring that day‑to‑day work adheres to relevant regulatory, quality, and internal governance requirements, including documentation and audit trails.
How you'll have an impact:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in safeguarding the integrity and reliability of the medicines information that thousands of healthcare professionals, patients, and industry partners rely on every day. By ensuring data on the emc website and across our products is consistently accurate, timely, and high‑quality, you’ll directly support our reputation as the trusted source of medicines information in the UK.
Your work will strengthen collaboration across the business - helping offshore teams, internal stakeholders, and customers align around quality standards and efficient processes. By troubleshooting issues and guiding customers through submissions, you’ll improve their experience and help them deliver compliant, high‑quality information to the market.
Ultimately, your attention to detail and commitment to data excellence will enable better‑informed decision‑making, enhance product performance, and contribute to improved outcomes for patients who depend on clear, reliable medicines information.
